LASER ENGINEER

The Company – Integrated Energy Technologies (IET) is a leading manufacturer of combustion components and systems for Gas Turbine Engines. We have immediate opening for a Laser Engineer.

The Position – This is a "center of excellence" position. IET has five manufacturing facilities, most of which have laser cutting, welding or drilling operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the operating practices of each operation and developing the Company standards which will ensure consistent, cost-effective practices are employed in each facility.

This position will assist in the capital planning process to ensure IET maintains leading-edge capabilities through employment of state-of-the-art laser equipment. When new equipment is acquired, this person will be responsible for ensuring timely installation and transition of production.

Additionally, this position will assist in trouble shooting of manufacturing challenges and problems at all IET facilities.

The Qualifications –
  • Four year degree from a recognized major university in an applicable discipline
  • 5-10 years experience with CO2, YAG, and Laser Welding
  • Experience must include programming and tool design
  • Willingness to relocate and travel as required.
