SYSTEMS APPLICATION ENGINEER

The Company – Integrated Energy Technologies (IET) is a leading manufacturer of combustion components and systems for Gas Turbine Engines. We have immediate opening for a Systems Application Engineer in our Corporate office in Cincinnati.

The Position – Responsible for developing integrated combustion systems packaging solutions for OEM customers. This position requires extensive experience, knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in gas turbine operation (emphasis on Combustion Systems). Specific expectations and responsibilities:
  • Quickly develop value-added customer relationships
  • Develop strategies for applying the Company's product portfolio into integrated solutions to improve the OEM customers operation
  • Provide technical sales support to Regional Sales Managers including customer presentations
  • Provide training and technical support to Sales and Operations team members
  • Assist in development of the Company growth strategy including packaging/product integration and strategic alliances for systems solutions
  • Champion new business opportunities through a collaborative sales process working with the Sales, Operations and Financial team
The Qualifications –
  • BSME or equivalent professional degree is required. MBA preferred.
  • At least five years in gas turbine/engine design experience
  • Ability to solve complex problems and develop value-added solutions for OEM engine customers
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships in a multi-plant team structure
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with experience making technical customer presentations.
  • Understanding of business strategy directed towards achieving bottom-line results, and, the ability to analyze the profitability of products and customers.
